1979 Rolex Submariner 5513 Mk 2 Maxi Dial Steel Automatic Wristwatch. If there was ever a sub that had that "vintage look" this is certainly a solid contender. Steel Oyster case and bezel are great, lugs have remained thick and full bodied. Some general wear in keeping with age and usage. Original aluminum insert is great and has developed an incredible gun metal hued patina with incredible color, reminiscent of some violet colored coral pattern. Steel screw in crown is crisp to the touch. A couple marks present on the plexi crystal in keeping with age and usage. The original matte black Mk 2 Maxi dials texture is spotless, original luminescent on dial and hands have developed a very cool patina. 20mm steel 93150 Oyster bracelet with 585 Ends has some wear in keeping with age and usage, includes divers extension, and fits approx 7.25" wrist size. Clasp is date coded to 1981. Caliber 1520 Oyster Perpetual automatic movement is running and functioning.
